Time is running out for you to send a message to government that you want Giralang’s shops back.
By Friday, 18 May, the ACT Government will close public comments on the current development proposal which has been largely shaped by your input.
It is very rare for the government to receive letters of support for such proposals, and decision makers do take these into account.
There’s a lot of research around that says for every person who bothers to complain about something, 26 others remain silent. Don’t be one of the positive, but silent majority. Spend a few minutes filling out this form to have your voice heard. Make sure you include the development application (DA) number 201833501 for Section 79, Block 6 in the suburb of Giralang.
If the government decides in favour of the development plans, and there are no appeals, building the new centre could start as early as August 2018.
